Vespertiliu (Veronica Ciancarini) was born on Christmas Day ‘93, ruining the dinner for friends and relatives. He attended the art high school in Civitavecchia and graduated in scenography from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. Passionate about all things gothic and grotesque, she shares her passions with an international audience between Instagram (83k), TikTok (86k), and YouTube (75k).
She made her debut in the world of comics in 2018 and has since worked as an illustrator and cartoonist, publishing with publishers such as Panini, Mondadori and Lo Scarabeo. His third graphic novel, “Cadaveri Squisiti”, published by Ragdoll - fumetti scomposti, was awarded as best self-production at Lucca Comics and Games 2025.
