Nicola Perugini was born in Città di Castello (PG) on March 5, 1973, but has always lived and worked in Rome. He is a self-taught illustrator, and after working for a time as an animator at various studios in Rome, he began illustrating books for children and young adults at the Era Nuova publishing house in Perugia.
His greatest passion, however, is comics as a sequential art form: he created the “Metamorfex” project for Regulus. He later joined the publishing house Cagliostro E-Press, illustrating one episode each for the first two volumes of the “Acua” series. He also illustrated the fifth episode of “Sette Sigilli,” Season 3. 
He collaborates with the publishing house emme 3, for which he created the volume *Dioverso* with Guglielmino and Pagani. Also for emme 3 Edizioni, he created the volume *Garibaldi vs Santa* with text by Guglielmino.
For Leucotea, he created Episode 3 of *I Protettori dell’Avvento*.
He published *Rinascita*, based on poems by Lorenzo Limoncelli, for Edizioni Progetto Cultura.
He teaches comics as a sequential art form at the Schoolcomix school in Aprilia.
