Matteo Paolillo

Passionate about art, he began to study from the age of 13 both acting and singing at the Teatro Delle Arti with the master Gaetano Stella. He then moved to Rome and studied at the theatre conservatory "La Scaletta" by Gianni Diotajuti. He then attended the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome where he graduated in 2019.

She made her television debut in 2016 with the series "Don Matteo". She also starred in the fiction "Vivi e lascia vivere" with Elena Sofia Ricci. He approaches the genre of action with the series "Solo" by Marco Bocci and "Suburra La Serie" by Netflix. His breakthrough comes with "Mare Fuori" where he plays Edoardo Conte, one of the protagonists of the series set in Naples . For "Mare Fuori" he also wrote and sang the famous theme song "'O Mar For". In the theater he recites in "The Divine Comedy", "The fleeting moment" and "The Iliad".

Matteo Paolillo, known musically as Icaro, founded a band "Suba Crew" with an album entitled "Matrioska". His songs are: Black Blood, Ma comme aggia, Edo Freestyle. He performed on the stage of Sanremo 2023 singing with the rest of the cast the theme song of Mare Fuori written and performed by himself. As a singer under the pseudonym Icaro he has released other songs such as Origami all'alba and Liberatemi. In 2023 he organized the first tour, taking part in numerous concerts.
