Lorenzo Marinone
Lorenzo Marinone, President of the Rome Capital Budget Committee. Born and raised in the Monteverde neighborhood of Rome, he is 32 years old and has a degree in Communication and Marketing from Roma Tre University. He began his political career at the age of twenty as a Municipal Councilor of the Democratic Party, becoming the youngest elected in Rome and subsequently serving as Vice President of the Municipal Council.
During his political activity he founded the Young Democrats of Municipio XII, promoting civic participation initiatives, social activities and projects dedicated to the involvement of young people in the area. Its commitment has always focused on the themes of inclusion, social and voluntary work, with particular attention to the role of the third sector as a fundamental element for community cohesion and development.
He is currently a City Councilor of Rome, delegated to Youth Policies by Mayor Roberto Gualtieri, a member of the Culture Committee, and President of the Budget Committee. It interprets the budget not only as a technical-administrative tool, but as a political choice oriented towards collective well-being, the support of associations, and the valorization of the social energies that contribute to making Rome a vibrant and supportive city.
