Lino Patruno

He is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger and director of jazz bands, among the pioneers of traditional jazz in Italy since Milan in the 1950s. He is co-founder of the famous cabaret-musical group “I Gufi” for which he wrote the music and arrangements. He has composed soundtracks for cinema and theatre, including “Ti amo Maria”. He created many television programs as an author and host, taking care of the music as well as writing TV theme songs including the unforgettable “Portobello”. He is a tireless musical popularizer: he organizes festivals, holds university seminars and stages his “Jazz Show” in the main Italian theaters and festivals.
