Giovanni Scifo is a visual artist and graphic novel author, with a background that combines figurative arts and cinematic language. He graduated from the New York Film Academy in 1999 with a degree in Visual Arts and Film, launching an international career as a storyboard artist and concept artist. Over the years he has collaborated with important companies in the film and television industry,including Warner Bros, HBO, Sony, Universal, Rai Cinema, Disney and Marvel, Deep Silver, Snapchat, Top Cow, contributing to the visual development of numerous productions.

In 2016 he deepened his study of portraiture and the figurative arts at the Russian Academy of Art in Florence, consolidating an artistic approach that blends classical technique and contemporary imagery. At the same time, he continues an authorial journey in comics, publishing the graphic novel “Antichrist” in 2017, “Somnium” in 2023 and “I Am Legend” in 2023.

He has collaborated as a cartoonist and illustrator with international magazines such as “Odissey Project” “Absent Willow Review” and “Weirdbreed”, and is a regular guest artist at major comics and pop culture events.

His work is distinguished by an intense and cinematic aesthetic, balanced between figurative tradition and narrative experimentation, with a gaze always projected towards new forms of visual storytelling.
