Giorgio Scorza

Co-Founder, CEO and Creative Director of Movimenti Production.

At the end of his training at the IED in Milan, his short diploma was selected in competition at Annecy in 2002, winning several prizes in Italy and Europe (including the Poitiers Festival) and from there he began his career in the animation sector. In 2004, with Davide Rosio he founded Movimenti Production, now the main independent production company and animation studio in Italy, and over the years has co-directed and produced award-winning international TV series, such as "Topo Gigio" for Rai Kids and the Zerocalcare series for Netflix "Strappare lungo i bordi” and “Questo mondo non mi renderà cattivo”.

As an author, director and creative director, Giorgio Scorza has written several advertising campaigns, album covers, installations, events and international video clips, winning numerous awards and collaborating with artists such as Mika, thasup, Pinguini Tattici Nucleari, la Machete Empire Records, Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti.

 In 2018 he is one of the co-founders of Mobo, 3D production studio and international co-production company, while in 2019 from Movimenti Production DogHead Animation, Italy’s leading 2D studio, was born in Florence, where many great national and international productions have been made. In 2024 Giorgio Scorza produced the first live action projects of Movimenti Production, namely the two seasons of the comedy series "S-Fidiamoci" for Rai Kids and the pilot of the mockumentary "L'effetto Dorothy" for RaiPlay.
