Enrico Padovani
Enrico Padovani is a pianist and composer. Winner of awards in national, European and international piano competitions, he has performed both as a soloist and as a chamber musician in numerous theatres and concert festivals in Italy, Europe and China. In 2015 he recorded an album with music by Frederic Chopin for the ZeroDB Classic record label, achieving considerable critical success in the specialized press in Italy and Europe. In a piano duo with his wife Alessandra Mauro he recorded the album “Mozart, works for piano four hands” published by Da Vinci Classics. He is also active as a composer of film and theatre music. He graduated in Piano from the Conservatory of Music “Luigi Cherubini” in Florence, obtaining top marks, and obtained a second-level Academic Diploma in Piano from the Conservatory “Arrigo Boito” in Parma with a grade of 110 cum laude under the guidance of Maestro Roberto Cappello. At the same time, he pursued humanistic studies, which led him to a degree in Philosophy from the University of Parma. He is a tenured professor at the Arrigo Boito Conservatory in Parma.
