Daxiong is a comic book artist, editor and publisher. He is currently one of the most successful artists in Chinese and European comics. He has received a great deal of recognition for his work in the industry, including first place at the Shanghai Animation & Comic Competition, Golden Monkey King Award at China International Cartoon and Animation Festival, top honors at the 33rd annual Angoulême International Comics Festival, Viewer’s Choice Award on ICON 29, Video Game “Shuyan Saga” - Best Original interactive production (2018 nominated in Academy of Canadian Cinema & television), and Animation Documentary “Eternal Spring” won Fischer Audience Award at Thessaloniki International Film Festival, Special Mention at Movies That Matter Festival, the Audience Award of Hot Docs 2022, and selected as Canada's entry for Best International Feature Film for the 95th Academy Awards in 2023.
