Davide Furnò

Illustrator, cartoonist and teacher, Davide Furnò has built a successful career in the world of publishing, advertising and art education. After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Turin, he worked for over twenty years with leading international advertising agencies, creating storyboards and illustrations for major brands such as Ferrero, TBWA, Young & Rubicam, Armando Testa and many others.
At the same time, he has worked for important Italian and international publishing houses, distinguishing himself as a comic artist for Sergio Bonelli Editore, in particular on the Dylan Dog newspaper, and publishing with DC Comics, Vertigo and IDW on titles such as "Batman Eternal", "30 Days of Night", "The Crow" and "Scalped". In France he has signed illustrations and covers for Soleil, while in Italy he has collaborated with RaiPlay and the Clan Celentano on television projects such as "I Sognatori di Mondi" and "Adrian".
His talent has led him to create covers and interiors for cult series such as Cassidy, Saguaro, Mani Nude, Hellnoir and John Doe, as well as prestigious special editions such as "Dylan Dog & Vasco Rossi: Jenny" with Barbara Baraldi and Dylan Dog presents: "The stories of tomorrow" with Tiziano Sclavi.
Besides the artistic activity, Furnò is a recognized teacher, designing and teaching courses of artistic anatomy, illustration, comics and digital ink at the European Institute of Design (IED) and the International School of Comics. His contribution to the world of comics has earned him awards and recognition from critics and the public.
