Will Simpson

Golden Romics of the XIX edition

Will has made his bones, like almost all british authors, in the historic magazine 2000 AD, in which key figures such as Judge Dredd and Rogue Trooper appear every week. In the late Eighties and early Nineties, Simpson had the opportunity to work with the English comic gotha: Alan Grant, Dave Gibbons, Grant Morrison, Peter Milligan. All UK-made authors of the so-called British Invasion responsible for the American comics revolution. And it is precisely with one of these authors, the northern irish like him Garth Ennis, that William creates some of the most beautiful stories of John Constantine Hellblazer ever: Dangerous Habits (which will also inspire the film with Keanu Reeves). Since 2000, he has been working as a storyboard artist or designer on films such as Reign of Fire, Closing the Ring, City of Ember. Since 2011 he has espoused the cause of Game of Thrones, for which he is a leading storyboard artist and has contributed to the design of dragons, metalupi and three-eyed crow.
