Superheroines: costumes, identities and artistic perspectives – Meeting with Emanuela Lupacchino

What were the original sources of inspiration for the costumes of American comic book superheroes: fashion, sports, advertising, cinema… and how is the costume of a Marvel or DC heroine designed? What are the greatest challenges in drawing poses, expressions, and the visual identity of a hero?
