Simone Bianchi

In the contemporary global panorama, Simone Bianchi is among the greatest interpreters of the most famous superheroes who have marked the collective imagination of entire generations. Superman and Batman, Iron Man and Spider-Man, Thor and Captain America, as well as Wolverine, the X-Men (of which he redesigned the costume line for MARVEL) just to name a few, have all gone through Bianchi’s fervent creative streak.  The original plates that Simone designed for Star Wars were purchased by George Lucas himself, who wanted them for his collection. He was the first European to be commissioned to execute the Upper Deck project "Marvel Masterpieces", the subject of a double, contemporary exhibition in Italy and the United States in 2018.

In 2020 Vincenzo Mollica wanted and curated the exhibition "Simone Bianchi, Amazing Talent" in the frame of Palazzo Vitelli in Sant'Egidio, Città di Castello with over 200 paintings.

In 2023 at the "Granai" of the Fattori Museum at Villa Mimbelli in Livorno, the exhibition "Simone Bianchi, The Art of Superheroes" was held, curated by Prof. Giorgio Bacci of the University of Florence. With over twenty unpublished works, four world premiere works and an immersive room created by Art Media Studio that in fact animated the pictorial universe of Simone as inside a film film, The exhibition has shifted the concept of live art sharing even further. With over 120 works including paintings, preliminary drawings and internal panels - the exhibition was presented as the first example in Italy of flanking a representative of the Ninth Art to the great masters of the nineteenth century, whose works are exhibited inside the Museum Fattori.

Simone, he has a musical soul. He also lent his brushes to music, painting the official poster for the TOOL concert in Miami and the SmashingPumpkins concert in Denver in 2022. In Italy he made the cover for the album of Caparezza EXUVIA, as well as the pop-up contained inside the vinyl.
