Piero Di Blasio
Singer, actor and voice actor. Born in Pescara. He studied singing privately with A. Matarazzo and later, after moving to Rome in 2001, at the Accademia Corrado Pani di Claudio e Pino Insegno, with whom he works in the shows Insegnami a sognare, Un po' prima della prima, Buonasera, Buonasera, Cannibal - il musical (of which he is also the author of the music additions), Joseph and the amazing tunic of dreams... (with R. Casale) and La fila, all directed by Claudio Insegno.
In 2007 he is in the cast of the musical "Alta Società" with Vanessa Incontrada and in 2008 he plays the role of Fusco in the show "La Febbre del Sabato Sera", with Simone Di Pasquale. In the same year he plays Mr. Pinky in the musical "Hairspray" (the presenter Corny Collins, in the second year), in 2009 he is the valet of the king, Lionell in the musical "Cinderella" (shows produced by Planet Musical with the direction of M.R.Piparo). In the same year he directed the official Italian version of the musical Off-Broadway, "Questi cinque anni". Between 2009 and 2010 he directed "La collezionista di farfalle" and wrote and directed the comedy "Giuro! Tutta la verità..." both on stage at the Duse theatre in Rome. In the summer of 2009 he is Hannas in "Jesus Christ Superstar" produced by Rock Opera, directed by Mara Mazzei.
In 2010 he played the role of Don Stanislao in the musical "Don’t be afraid - John Paul II the great", directed by Gianluca Ferrato and Andrea Palotto. Between 2010 and 2011 he plays the role of Poet Pulci in the opera by Mr Riz Ortolani "Il Principe della Gioventù", directed by Giuliano Peparini.
In 2011, Nitto Minasola is in "Salvatore Giuliano" the musical by Dino Scuderi, directed by Giampiero Cicciò.
In 2012 he plays the prince Lord Farquaad in "Shrek il musical", directed by Claudio Insegno. The following year he began his artistic collaboration with Gianluca Guidi, with whom he starred in "Taxi a due piazze" (Bobby Franchetti) and "Aggiungi un posto a tavola" (Toto). In the break between these shows debuts at the Teatro Nazionale di Milano with "Bodyguard il musical" as Sy Spector, directed by Federico Bellone.
He sings with the SAT&B choir of M. Fontana for two years. On TV she is a chorus girl for Uno di Noi (three episodes), Theleton 2002 and Premiata Teleditta 3 e 4. She participates, also as a chorus girl, in the recording of the Cd Sogni Proibiti by O. Vanoni. He sings in the cartoons "American Dad" and "The Simpsons" with M.G.Curcio. Since 2012 he is the voice of numerous songs and acronyms for Disney, Netflix and others, under the direction of Ernesto Brancucci and Virginia Brancucci (Sofia the princess, Mark and Star, Elena of Avalon, The lion guard, Crazy Ex Girlfriend, Wandavision, Ducktales, The great North, Bob’s Burger the movie, etc...).
Since 2006 he is active in voice dubbing, taking part in several cartoons, documentaries, films, TV series and RAI series (Pucca, The World of Quest, American Dad, Cleveland Show, the Griffins, Rick and Morty, 2 Broke Girls, Farzar, Tandem, Grojband, Central Park, the legend of the 3 caballeros, Mini puppies, Kipo and the era of legendary creatures, and many others).
Dal 2014 è socio fondatore della A.M.O. srls con la quale produce e distribuisce “Ti Amo, Sei Perfetto, Ora Cambia” (uno dei più longevi musical Off Broadway e con il quale vincono il premio miglior spettacolo Off agli Italian Musical Awards) e “Tomorrow Morning” il musical di Laurence Mark Wythe, per la prima volta in Italia.
È regista e adattatore de “La piccola bottega degli orrori” (con Fabio Canino e Giampiero Ingrassia) e di “Tutti parlano di Jamie – il musical” (con Giancarlo Commare e Barbara Cola) due grandi spettacoli musicali per il teatro Brancaccio di Roma.
Since 2014 he is a founding member of A.M.O. srls with which he produces and distributes "Ti Amo, Sei Perfetto, Ora Cambia" (one of the longest-running Off Broadway musicals and winner of the best show at the Italian Musical Awards) and "Tomorrow Morning" Laurence Mark Wythe’s musical, for the first time in Italy.
He is director and adapter of "La piccola bottega degli orrori" (with Fabio Canino and Giampiero Ingrassia) and "Tutti parlano di Jamie - il musical" (with Giancarlo Commare and Barbara Cola) two great musical performances for the Brancaccio theatre in Rome.
