Comic books author and illustrator, his works are published in Europe and in the United States. He was born in Turin on 12 March 1967 where he frequented the Artistic High School.  During the school years he took part in the National Comics Contest in Prato gaining the second place. It was the debut of who will become one of the greatest italian comics artists. In 1985, Frezzato began to publish his works for various magazines and in 1990 he created “Margot” with script by Jerome Charyn. From 1994 to 1997, he was assigned the task of leading an illustration course at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Turin. In the meantime, in 1996 he published the work that will definitively conquer a large audience, Keepers of the Maser, work that will engage him until April 2005. Since 2007 he entrasted to the skillful pencil of Fabio Ruotolo the illustration of the saga, completely devoting himself to the script and the supervison. The Keepers of the Maser saga was an enormous success and was published in many countries such as : France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Belgium, Denmark and United States. From 1998 to 1999 he taught at Accademia d’Arte Pictor in Turin. In recent years Frezzato has given space to his creativity, by creating, between 2008 and 2009, a wonderful portfolio in which he illustrated the history of Pinocchio. In 2011 the french publisher Mosquito published Memories of sand, a collection of silent short stories dedicated to love in all its nuances.
