Before embarking on his journey with Corto Maltese, Martin Quenehen had already led several lives. He was a history teacher, novelist (Jours tranquilles d'un prof de banlieue), radio host (France Culture) and documentary maker (Sur la trace des faussaires). Today, he writes and produces podcasts (Les Enquêtes du Louvre, Panorama, etc). But the meeting with Bastien Vivès took him into the ruthless world of comics. Together they wrote the mystery Quatorze juillet and three adventures of Corto Maltese.
