Marco Gervasio
Graduated in Economics and Business, in 1996 he attended the Roman School of Comics (where he currently teaches). Since then, the artist has collaborated with Disney as an artist, screenwriter, and cover artist for Topolino and other magazines. In 2012, he created the texts and drawings for the series "The Amazing Deeds of Fantomallard, Gentleman Thief," which is still ongoing. Since 2013, Gervasio has collaborated with Rovio Entertainment, creating stories for Angry Birds Comics. Since 2015 he has collaborated with IDW as a cover artist for the US editions of Disney comics. In 2017 in Portugal he received the Melhor Banda Desenhada and MelhorDesenho awards. In the 24th edition of Romics (2018) he was awarded the prestigious Romics d'Oro. Since 2019 he has been writing the Paperinike stories and in 2020 he debuted the new series “Paperbridge”, a “teen drama duck”, for which the author takes care of the texts and drawings. In 2021, his new science fiction series “La Ciurma del Sole Nero” was published in Topolino, and in 2023 he staged “” the theatrical comedy “Paperugantino”.
