Leandro Fernández is a cartoonist and author born in Argentina in 1973. He has collaborated on the creation of works such as "The Old Guard" (with Greg Rucka, Image Comics), "American Carnage" (with Bryan Hill, DC Comics - Vertigo), "The Discipline" and "The Names" (with Peter Milligan, Image Comics and DC Comics - Vertigo) and "Far South" (with Rodolfo Santullo, Puro Comic Ediciones). He also created a volume of "Torpedo 1972", written by Enrique Sánchez Abulí, its creator. The comic "The Old Guard" was adapted for the screen by Netflix. The film is directed by Gina Prince Bythewood, with Charlize Theron in the lead role, Kiki Layne and a top-notch cast. In the second film, the cast expanded and, among others, she joined the Uma Thurman crew. He has previously drawn comics for Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Dark Horse, Oni Press, and other publishing houses around the world. He has drawn issues such as "Wolverine: Coyote Crossing" with Greg Rucka; several issues in Garth Ennis' Punisher MAX series, "The Slavers," "Kitchen Irish," "Up is down, black is white," "Man of Stone," and many others featuring famous figures such as the Hulk, Conan, Deadpool, Avengers, Daredevil, and New Mutants. His latest work is "Batman: Gotham by Gaslight", a series written by Andy Diggle and published by DC Comics.
