From idea to video game: behind the scenes of video game production

From the initial concept to the final interactive experience: at Romics, a journey through the development phases of a video game together with Marco Giglio, founder of NewArk Digital School.
How does a video game come about? What professionalism, technologies, and creative processes lie behind the creation of the most popular titles?
Romics “From Idea to Video Game: Inside the Production Pipeline” hosts a workshop dedicated to the main phases of video game development, from the birth of the concept to the creation of the final product.
Using examples from popular video games, the workings of a real production pipeline will be illustrated, delving into the roles, tools, and processes through which different disciplines –Game Design, Concept Art, 3D, Animation, Programming, Audio, VFX, and Level Design– collaborate to transform an idea into an interactive experience.
The workshop will be led by Marco Giglio, founder of NewArk Digital School, an educational institution dedicated to the digital arts, founded with the aim of making learning an immersive, creative, and collaborative experience.
From CGI to Game Art, Sound Design to illustration, NewArk offers a training model based on customizable routes, an international community, live events and shared projects. A creative ecosystem that also finds expression in NewArk Studio, a space dedicated to the creation of concrete productions, from video games to cartoons, from music to special effects.
An event dedicated to gaming enthusiasts and those who wish to delve deeper into the creative and technological processes that characterize the video game industry.
