Doppelgänger, stage name of Alen Dokić was born in Rome in 2000 to parents of Bosnian origin who escaped the war in Yugoslavia. He enters the world of rap in 2021, becoming popular in the world of TikTok thanks to his songs and his contents linked above all to a second generation Balkan audience (and not only), both in Italy but also internationally. In November 2021 he collaborates with Frenkie in “Mic Check”, a rap legend in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In April 2022, thanks to “Alen” and “BLKN BLD”, it reaches the public even more in Italy. Thanks to his lyrics in Italian, English and Bosnian aimed at a second generation audience and transposed in a Hip-Hop/Rap key, he is gaining more and more notoriety both in Italy and around the world. Noticed by acclaimed Albanian singer Dafina Zeqiri, he collaborates with her on her record label in Prishtina, Kosovo. With the series of songs “BLKN BLD I, II, III, IV, V, VI” and his two EPs “BALKAN REPRESENT VOL.1 and VOL.2” he constantly increases his numbers, reaching 2 million streams on Spotify alone. He collaborates in April 2024 both at the level of social manager and with the song “JOJ!” with Dubioza Kolektiv, an internationally renowned historic Bosnian group. The artist is particularly developed in terms of numbers on various social networks, with a following of 1 million followers on TikTok and 250 thousand followers on Instagram.
