Daniele Bigliardo was born in Naples on February 16, 1963.
At just seventeen he worked with director Mario Martone, setting up sets for his theatre group. In the early 1980s he founded the advertising agency “En plein air”, almost simultaneously with his first experiences in the comics field, gained in the fanzine circuit.
His professional debut with drawn clouds took place in 1993, when he drew a comic book by “Gordon Link” for Editoriale Dardo. He later also worked for Universo and in 1996 he made his debut in a publication by Sergio Bonelli Editore: the fifth Dylan Dog Gigante.
For the Nightmare Investigator he drew about twenty stories, including the team-up with Dampyr, then was included in the staff that created the comic adventures of Inspector Ricciardi created by Maurizio de Giovanni. Of these publications he is not only one of the main designers, but also the official cover artist. He is currently working on a future TEXONE.
