Born and raised in the province of Reggio Emilia, where everyone lives and lives in the village of Cavriago.
Since he was a big fan of reading and comics. After graduating in Economics, he went on to work professionally in comics in 1994, joining the marketing department of Marvel Italia, the then Italian subsidiary of Marvel USA. In 1998 he took over the management of Pan Distribuzione, the distribution division of Panini (which in the meantime had merged with Marvel Italia to form the group Pan Distribuzione S.p.A.) which he held for 11 years. At the same time, he also becomes the managing director of Anteprima, the most well-known and popular monthly comic book information, a role he will hold until 2011.
In 2009 he was part of the marketing department of the publishing house in Modena, which in the meantime became Panini Comics, with the position of "Senior Marketing Manager" until in April 2016 he took over as "Director Publishing Mercato Italia".
From October 2018 he also became Editorial Director of the weekly "Mickey Mouse", the most historical and long-lived comic book magazine currently on the market and all the other Disney titles published in Italy, including “I Classici Disney”, “Paperino mese”, “Zio Paperone”, “Paperinik” “I grandi Classici” and many others.
