Valentina Galluccio, in art VAGA, attended the institute of art, clothing and fashion and design. After high school, she won a scholarship in a dance school in Florence where she lived for two years to become a contemporary dancer, leaving behind my passion for drawing. In 2016 he decided to resume his studies, so he attended a three-year illustration course at the Scuola Italiana di Comics in Naples. During her studies, she became passionate about the world of 2D animation which allowed her to explore new fields of art and broaden her horizons. Winner of the Lucca Project Contest 2022, the young author will present her debut book Dog that tells the pitfalls of a toxic relationship through the experiences and feelings of the young alternative girl Mia.
The work was at the Micheluzzi 2024 awards in the category "Best First Work" and the author at the Boscarato Awards as "Author revelation of the year".
