Game Producer and Computer Graphics expert, he has worked on blockbusters such as: Mission Impossible, Fast and Furious, G.I. Joe, Streetfighters and Need for Speed into the departments of animation production CGI and Visual Effects, as Executive Producer for Viacom, and on videogames such as: Kingdom of Avalur, Dropzones and Bloodstained. During his career he alternated between collaborations with Universal, Sony, Capcom, Konami, TOEI and Tsuburaya and asian independent productions as the television translation of Castlevania. Always persuaded of the importance of writing for audiovisual storytelling, in recent years he focused on the relationship between Visual Effects (VFX) and Special Effects (SFX) as prosthetics, arms and tricks.
Big fan of Japan, where he lived for three years and produced many works: Anime, Tokusatsu, Videogames and TV Series. Great collectors of action figures and DVD’S, he is one of the few who loves his job and who does it with great joy, distinguishing himself in different roles such as those of Writer, Film director, CG & Game Producer. Diego Vida will conclude his italian tour at Romics, where he will be the protagonist of a speech about the role of producer CG in the field of Cinema and Games, and of a panel on the integration between Special Effects, Animatronics and CG Animation.
