Martin Freeman Golden Romics of the XXIII edition

Since the beginning of his career, starting with his first major role in the award-winning English series The Office (2001), Martin Freeman has experimented with different narrative genres with an elegance and accuracy that is both extremely personal and brilliant, moving from the romance of Love Actually (2003) to the ludicrous science fiction of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005), from the BBC detective series Sherlock (2010) - which guaranteed him a BAFTA and an Emmy Award - in which he plays the role of a charming Dr. Watson, all the way into fantasy with the Tolkenian interpretation in trilogy form of The Hobbit (An Unexpected Journey, The Desolation of Smaug, and The Battle of the Five Armies, 2012, 2013, and 2014), where he plays a young Bilbo Baggins under the direction of Peter Jackson. In 2014, Freeman returned to television as the protagonist of the miniseriesFargo, and in 2015 he made his first appearance on the big screen in the Cinecomics world with Captain America: Civil War. In 2018 he returned to the Marvel home with Black Panther and on April 19 he will arrive in theaters with Ghost Stories, a supernatural thriller in which he plays a skeptical TV host struggling with so-called psychics and violent unsolved mysteries.
