Takamasa Sakurai is back at Romics this year!
Taking part in the University of Comics, Takamasa will hold a panel to investigate how Anime and Manga can influence your daily life, and participate in the maxi-conference entitled The Present and Future of Popular Comics on Thursday afternoon, 29 September.
And who better than Takamasa as a member of the Jury at Romics 2011 to select the Italian cosplay representatives for next year’s World Cosplay Summit?

Born in 1965, Takamasa Sakurai is a media content producer, author and journalist.
His activities in cultural exchange initiatives have led him to take part in panels and conferences in 72 cities and 20 countries. Also a producer of fashion shows, Takasama is one of the first people to use animation and Harajuku fashion in cultural exchange programmes and is often invited to take part in events about Japan.
He is probably best-known as the author of books such as Anime Bunka Gaiko (Anime Culture Diplomacy) and Sekai Kawaii Kakumei (World Kawaii Revolution), and for his work related to the establishment of the "Kawaii Ambassadors" - three official representatives designated by the Foreign Ministry of Japan whose mission it is to promote Japanese fashion and pop culture at such events as Japan Expo and ROMICS.
